Melanin is beautiful

Today I am not only declaring that Melanin is beautiful but that I am starting a Non Profit that will be focused on shifting the standard of beauty in this world to be inclusive of black and brown people.

How we’re going to do this:

• Build a community of profiles highlighting the beautiful Melanin that is out there and make it personal

• Lobby media, the entertainment industry and professional organizations to accept and adopt this reality

• Publicly challenge organizations that get it wrong and work with them to get it right

• Support Melanin individuals who struggle with negative self image due to biased beauty standards

• Partner with organizations focused on improving the black and brown experience
